St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2013 has finished its work.
June 20-22, 2013 will always be remembered as a bright and important for lots of spheres event: International Economic Forum has taken place in St. Petersburg. Over 7, 000 people took part in it. More than 100 agreements were signed, total sum of which equals 9,6 trillion rubles.
The largest contract of this year is a treaty between «Rosneft» and CNPC. 360 million ton of oil is agreed to be supplied during 25 years. Amount of contract equals 270 milliard dollars.
Representatives of the North-West Federal District signed an agreement with the research production company «Electron». The essence of the agreement is implementation of the investment project of building an engineering center for the manufacturing and localization of production of medical products and various accessories. Investments should make up more than 2 billion rubles. This center will be located in the Lomonosov district of the Leningrad region. According to the project, it should be a research production platform for the development and production of high-tech medical equipment. This type of projects will be implemented in Russia for the first time.
Fund «Skolkovo», Intel and «KAMAZ» announced a partnership. Leaders of «Russian Railways», the Belarusian Railway and the National Railway Company of Kazakhstan signed an agreement on the establishment of the Joint Transport and Logistics (OTLK). A whole range of contracts on the initiative of the Government of St. Petersburg, which is aimed to improve the city's infrastructure, increasing the number of jobs and the protection of cultural property.
According to experts, SPIEF 2013 is one of the most productive and successful events of the year.
