Construction of the "Ladozhskiy" railway station
"Ladozhskiy" railway station is a unique station in modern Russia, primarily due to the fact that it is a transit . Architectural solution for the location of the station building over platforms due to lack of available space for development in this area of the city is also very interesting.
Station complex consists of two buildings. The underground level is used for local trains. Passengers can get to the subway from the main lobby on escalators. In the lower hall there are offices, turnstiles, waiting rooms, cafe and shop. The upper tier is designed to serve passengers of long distance trains. The main hall is a huge, located above the track space area, containing all the necessary services to create the most comfortable conditions for passengers.
